Welcome to Little House Nursery, Southfields, Wimbledon
Little House Nursery is a private day care nursery situated in a converted house in Southfields, Wimbledon, on the corner of Revelstoke Road and Durnsford Avenue. We are conveniently located between Wimbledon Park and Southfields tube stations for commuters into Central London, Wimbledon and for local residents.
We are open full-time from 8:00am – 7:00pm caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.
Our philosophy is that every child we care for deserves a calm, caring, safe and stimulating environment in which to learn.
Taking care of our staff’s wellbeing is of prime importance to us and we are proud to have been voted the 14th best place to work in the whole of the UK.
We adhere to our registration on the Ofsted Early Years Register. This monitors the overall quality standards of the early years provision in line with the principles and requirements of the ‘Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage’.
We are open for registrations
Please call us on 0208 947 7058 or 07951 796713 to find out more about our nursery or to book a visit.
Best wishes from Annabel and the Little House Nursery Team.
We are pleased to report that the majority of our children have now returned to Nursery following the relaxation of social distancing measures by Government. We recognise that this is a continues to be a worrying and confusing time for parents of young children and that some of the information in the media may add to your concerns.
The Nursery is satisfied, having completed our own comprehensive risk assessment, that it is as safe as possible for our children to return and for our Nursery to remain open, but we are alert to the ongoing risks.
We have reached this conclusion after careful examination of the data at a local level, a detailed reopening plan based on advice from Public Health England (PHE) and an evaluation of the risk to our staff, based on their health and household risk factors.
The UK Chief Medical Officers have issued a statement on education and childcare reopening which states that there is a very low rate of severe disease in children from coronavirus (COVID-19).
However, we thought it would be helpful to provide you with additional information on the more localised picture.
